Who Am I?
My name is Patrick Basten, this page originally created in 1997 to post my resume. Many years have passed now it is a basic site to show my friends some projects that I have been working on.
A little about myself, I graduated high school in 1995. I then went to college at the University of Minnesota Duluth. In 1999 I completed my Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering (minor in Computer Science and Mathematics). I married my high school sweet heart Valarie Moore in November of 1999. We both then moved to San Antonio TX were I went to work for work for Southwest Research Institute ( www.swri.org ). In 2005 I left SwRI to startup Gomadic Corp which is where I am now.
